Fox One Expands Podcasts With Shows From Fox News, Red Seat Ventures

Fox One isn’t just about streaming Fox TV programs.

The subscription-based streamer, originally touted as a venue where fans could tune in to Fox’s broader sports offerings, said Monday that it would expand its portfolio of podcasts, adding selections from Fox News and Red Seat Ventures to selections already on the service led by Nancy Grace and several sports hosts.

“This podcast expansion is a great example of how we’re working across Fox to bring together best-in-class content from our businesses in new and exciting ways,” said Reagan Feeney, senior vice president of content strategy and planning at Fox One, in a statement. “By leveraging the strength of our partners at Fox News Media and Red Seat Ventures, we’re able to offer subscribers even more compelling voices and perspectives, all in one place, while continuing to build a platform that delivers real value to our audience.”

Starting Monday, Fox One will serve up episodes of “Hang Out with Sean Hannity,” “Ruthless,” “The Riley Gaines Show,” “Planet Tyrus,” “Will Cain Country,” “The Brett Cooper Show,” “Keeping It Real: Conversations with Jillian Michaels,” and “The President’s Daily Brief with Mike Baker.”

Fox One was already offering “Crime Stories with Nancy Grace,” which launched on FOX One last fall and features new episodes every weeknight; “Alexi Lalas State of the Union”, “First Things First,” “Speed with Harvick and Buxton” and “The Joel Klatt Show: A College Football Podcast.”

Rival streaming services are also beefing up the ranks of their podcasts. Netflix, for example, last week announced it would begin streaming a new podcast from former NBC News anchor Brian Williams.  Otehr new offerings include the true-crime podcast “The Rotten Files,” from Stephanie Soo (known for her popular podcast “Rotten Mango”); “Shut Up Evan” hosted by Evan Ross Katz; “Allegedly,” a true-crime show hosted by NBC News correspondent Ellison Barber; and “The Puzzle Room with David Kwong.”
