And as legendary franchise villain Jonny Fairplay detailed to TMZ in 2018, even the contestant whose torch is snuffed out first won’t hear producers say they’ve got nothin’ for ya. (In addition to a cash payout, they also receive an all-expenses-paid trip to Fiji, remaining on the islands for the duration of filming to avoid spoilers.)
And, of course, Fairplay isn’t the only former player to have spoken about the experience, with plenty of past contestants dropping their buffs guard to share everything from the clothes they’re assigned to wear to how they access basic hygiene necessities.
