Bode Miller is facing legal trouble. 

The former Olympic skier was arrested June 6 in Idaho and later charged with possession of a controlled substance and use or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia, according to documents obtained by E! News.  

Following his arrest, Miller posted bail for $5,000 and later pleaded not guilty to his two charges. After an arraignment on June 17, the 48-year-old is due back in court for a pre-trial hearing July 29. 

E! News has reached out to Miller’s attorney regarding his charges but has not yet heard back. 

During his time as an alpine skier, Miller took home six Olympic gold medals as well as multiple World Cup championships. The athlete became one of the most decorated alpine skiers of all time by his 2017 retirement, and was inducted into the US Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame two years later. 

After his retirement, Miller has been focused on life with his and wife Morgan Beck Miller’s eight children. The couple share Nash, 10, Easton, 7, twins Asher and Askel, both 6, Scarlet, 4, as well as Bode’s kids Dace, 18 and Nate, 12, from prior relationships.
