“Since I’ve had my daughter, the main thing in my mind is trying to be a good example to her,” he said on the Call Her Daddy podcast in July 2023. “That’s why I’m even doing this interview, you know? I used to get a lot of anxiety around having a conversation like this. And I want her to be able to look at me and be like, ‘My dad’s doing this.'”
And although Malik and Hadid didn’t hold each other close tonight and always, the 33-year-old will always have love for his ex.
As he put it, “I will always love G, because she is the reason my child is on this Earth, and I have the utmost respect for her.”
