Wimbledon 2026 results: GB’s Henry Patten and Finland’s Harri Heliovaara reach semi-final

Great Britain’s Henry Patten and Finnish team-mate Harri Heliovaara pulled off another thrilling comeback victory at Wimbledon to reach the semi-finals and maintain their men’s doubles title bid.

Top seeds Patten and Heliovaara, champions at the All England Club in 2024, battled back from a set down for the second straight match to defeat Argentine Guido Andreozzi and Frenchman Manuel Guinard 2-6 6-4 7-6 (10-6).

They have required a 10-point match tie-break to squeeze through in three consecutive rounds since winning their opener in straight sets.

Patten and Heliovaara will continue their bid to reclaim the title against American Aleksandar Kovacevic and Australia’s Thanasi Kokkinakis.

They only joined forces in 2024 but captured the world number one ranking for the first time in June.

The duo began this year by winning their second major title at the Australian Open and will now seek to reach a fourth slam final.

Britain’s defending champions Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool will attempt to join Patten in the last four on Wednesday.

Cash and Glasspool, who became the first all-British pair to win the men’s doubles title at Wimbledon for 89 years in 2025, face El Salvador’s Marcelo Arevalo and Croatia’s Mate Pavic.
