Christopher Nolan won two Oscars for his most recent movie, Opppenheimer, so fans are incredibly excited about his next film, The Odyssey.
13 actors have already been announced for the project and several of them happen to be Oscar-winning entertainers.
It was recently revealed that the Oppenheimer filmmaker will be making an adaptation of Homer‘s epic poem.
“The film brings Homer’s foundational saga to IMAX film screens for the first time and opens in theaters everywhere on July 17, 2026,” Universal Pictures announced at the end of last year.
The Odyssey chronicles “the ten-year journey of Odysseus, king of Ithaca, back to his home after the fall of Troy,” according to GoodReads. Homer wrote it around the 8th or 7th century BC.
