“The Light in the Darkness: Director’s Cut,” from game designer Luc Bernard, launched Tuesday.
Originally released in 2023, the free Holocaust narrative game puts players in the experience of a Polish-Jewish family in Nazi-occupied France. This newly expanded and enhanced edition features fully voiced scenes, extended narrative content, refined visuals and updated gameplay systems.
The game is published by Voices of the Forgotten, Bernard’s nonprofit dedicated to promoting Holocaust education through digital media. In August 2023, a virtual Holocaust Museum designed by Bernard became available in the Fortnite Creative video game.
“The Light in the Darkness: Director’s Cut” is available now on PlayStation 5.

“KPop Demon Hunters” and “Ghostbusters” join “Monopoly Go!” in the mobile game’s new “Monster Mash” season.
From Sept. 23-Nov. 25, “Monopoly Go!” players can experience a spooky season as the “KPop Demon Hunters” and “Ghostbusters” franchises take over the game with HUNTR/X, the Saja Boys, the Ghostbusters crew and more.
For the first time, “Monopoly Go!” will feature hit songs, with “Golden” and “How It’s Done” from “KPop Demon Hunters” available in game. “Ghostbusters” comes to life in the game with themed vehicles, attractions and iconic ghost-busting equipment.
Monster Mash also introduces the Luck-O-Lantern, which unlocks rewards when filled with enough candy, and a dice duel with friends where each roll reveals a trick or a treat. There are 25 new Sticker Sets hidden throughout the game.
GAME UPDATES/DLC
“The Sims 4” released an update featuring new ways to style young Sims’ looks and spaces.
Available now, the free update features one new hairstyle, three adult hairstyles now available for kids and three new CAS assets for toddlers. Also available are six new Styled Looks, eight new Build/Buy items, a new Styled Room and seven new Sims joining the Gallery.
Per EA, “The Sims” will continue to release free content updates throughout the year.
