Taylor Swift has recruited a couple of A-listers for her “Patient Zero” music video.
Dakota Johnson and Colin Farrell will star in the video for Swift’s new single, which releases on Friday alongside her “Life of a Showgirl: The Encore” album. Swift directed the video, which will debut at the MTV VMAs on Sunday, where she is also being honored with their inaugural Artist-Director Award.
Swift dropped a sneak peek at the video on “CBS Mornings” Thursday, before sharing it on her social media accounts.
The cinematic teaser includes clips of Swift and Johnson mirroring each other: across a bathroom sink, diving into water and standing together at a grave. A close-up shot of Swift crying — which offers a great view at her engagement ring to Travis Kelce — follows, before Farrell steps out of a car and the three meet, all dressed in black.
Swift revealed “The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore” on Wednesday after announcing “Patient Zero” the day before.
