“Steve’s Lava Chicken” is a hit!
The silly song from the new hit film, The Minecraft Movie, is rocketing up the Genius charts, with tens of thousands of views already as people look up the lyrics.
The track, written by Jack Black and Jared Hess, and produced by John Spiker, is part of the original motion picture soundtrack.

In the movie, the song plays as Steve, played by Jack, creates a food named “Lava Chicken.” The song introduces the two main ingredients being lava, or a lava bucket, and a chicken.
“La-la-la-lava ch-ch-ch-chicken / Steve’s Lava Chicken, yeah, it’s tasty as hell,” he sings.
