Sophia Bush is tired of calling foul on these rumors.
Three years after she and Ashlyn Harris found love in the wake of their respective divorces from Grant Hughes and Ali Krieger, the One Tree Hill actress has once again made clear there was no overlap between any of the relationships.
As Bush emphasized to Alex Cooper during the Oct. 21 episode of Call Her Daddy, “Two people who had filed for divorce and lived in separate residences from their exes went to dinner.”
Plus, such subterfuge is beyond her. In fact, simply admitting her new feelings to Harris, a longtime friend, wasn’t easy.
“I’m a little bit of a chickens–t,” the Chicago P.D. alum explained. “This whole like, ‘Oh, she must have like gotten drunk and had an affair.’ I was like anyone who thinks that was a casual leap for me doesn’t know me.”
But while Bush and Harris—who revealed in September that they privately married over the summer in 2025—have long been adamant that they did not have an affair, there are still naysayers who insist something untoward occurred. And at this point, Bush is tired of trying to convince them otherwise.
