Oscar nominee Sandra Hüller will make a cameo in Marvel’s “Avengers: Doomsday.”
News of Hüller’s top-secret role comes as directors Anthony and Joe Russo are in post-production for the movie, ahead of its Dec. 18 release date. The movie is already stuffed to the gills with award-winning actors and massive movie stars, including the returns of Chris Evans as Steve Rogers and Oscar winner Robert Downey Jr. as the villainous Doctor Doom, instead of Iron Man/Tony Stark.
The role also marks Hüller’s fifth major feature in 2025, following “Project Hail Mary,” “Rose,” “Fatherland” and “Digger,” all of which are players in this year’s awards race.
The Hollywood Reporter first reported Hüller’s involvement. Marvel Studios does not comment on casting.
