As the song continues, Role Model sings about having money, to which Johnson teases back, “Oh you think you’re big time?”
And when the singer notes he was “just being funny,” the 36-year-old answers, “Oh you’re Mr. Big Night.”
Role Model and Johnson—who previously dated Coldplay singer Chris Martin for seven years—have had some big nights in Los Angeles together since their first public date night in January.
In April, the pair packed on the PDA while leaving Little Dom’s restaurant in Los Feliz one night, and a month earlier were attached at the hip as they attended Paul McCartney’s farewell tour at Fonda Theatre.
But while Role Model—who was previously linked to Emma Chamberlain—isn’t keeping his romance with Johnson a secret, don’t get any high hopes 3000 that he’ll reveal any intimate details.
“Keeping things about music is what I’ve learned,” he added to Nylon. “Otherwise, the internet just has a field day.”
As he put it, “Everyone’s a detective.”
