Resurrection’ Season 2 Casts Gabriel Luna


“Dexter: Resurrection” Season 2 has added Gabriel Luna in a guest star role, Variety has learned.

Luna will play Ray Ballard, a serial killer operating under the name The Sleepy-Eyed Stranger. He will go up against series lead and returning star Michael C. Hall, the titular Dexter.

Luna is the latest new addition to the second season of the Paramount+ series. Brian Cox is set to appear as The New York Ripper, while Dan Stevens will play The Five Borough Killer. Both Bokeem Woodbine and Nona Parker Johnson will also join the new season, with Uma Thurman reprising the role of Charley and Kristen Ritter returning as well.

Luna has recently starred in shows like “Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy” at Peacock, “The Last of Us” at HBO (for which he will return for Season 3), and “FUBAR” at Netflix. He is also known for roles in shows like “Agents of SHIELD” and recently wrapped production on Season 2 of “The Terminal List.” In film, he has starred in features including “The Astronaut” and “Terminator: Dark Fate.”

He is repped by UTA, Entertainment 360, and Ziffren Brittenham.

“Dexter: Resurrection” was developed by original series helmer Clyde Phillips, who also serves as showrunner and executive producer on the new series. Hall executive produces in addition to starring. Scott Reynolds, Marcos Siega, Tony Hernandez, and Lilly Burns executive produce along with John Goldwyn and Sara Colleton, Veronica West, Kirsa Rein, and Tanner Bean & Katrina Mathewson. The series is produced by Paramount Television Studios and Counterpart Studios.
