O.J. Simpson documentary “OJ’s Accomplice” will premiere on Peacock Nov. 1, exploring the possibility that the former football star didn’t act alone the night he was accused of the 1994 murders.
Previously set to debut in December, the streaming platform moved up the release date of the two-part documentary that revisits the murders of Simpson’s wife Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ron Goldman. Peacock has also released a first look, featuring footage from inside the courtroom and a new eyewitness account.
“OJ’s Accomplice” will re-examine the crime scene and key evidence while also conducting interviews with the original defense investigator, Pat McKenna; lead detective Tom Lange; DEA agent Robert Brisolari; Simpson’s original defense team; A.C. Cowlings’ former roommate, Kato Kaelin; and Nicole Brown’s sister, Tanya Brown, to unfold what really happened on the night of June 12, 1994.
The documentary is directed by Ari Mark, Sumit David and produced by Ample Entertainment, with the duo also executive producing for Ample Entertainment. Sphere Abacus oversees all licensing and distribution.

“Ronin 3: The Battle for Sangin,” a three-part documentary series exploring the U.S. Marine’s 2010 fight in Sangin, Afghanistan, premiered Tuesday on Prime Video.
Narrated by Tom Berenger, the documentary is told through the Marines of the 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment who were stationed in Sangin District in Afghanistan’s Helmand Province. By the end of their deployment, 25 Marines from the battalion were killed in action and more than 200 were wounded. Never-before-seen battlefield footage and firsthand interviews from 25 Marines are used to depict one of the most costly U.S. Marine Corps deployments of the Afghanistan War.
The series is written, directed and produced by military journalist and filmmaker Jeanne McKinney. Patriot Profiles Productions produces, with McKinney and Dave McKinney serving as producers and executive producers alongside Aaron Semmel.
Development/Production
Muck Media has partnered with novelist Gary Shteyngart to develop his forthcoming essay collection “The Sensualist: Adventures in Pure Pleasure” into a documentary.
The series will see the writer travel the globe in pursuit of the idea that savoring life is an act of resistance. Shteyngart will follow the world’s largest rodent in South America, board the biggest cruise ship and travel to Naples, Havana, Bombay and Beijing.
“Adapting ‘The Sensualist’ feels less like a development decision and more like a moral obligation,” said director Darren Foster, partner at MUCK Media and series producer. “Once you see the world through Gary’s sensualist lens, you can’t unsee it — it’s the perfect tonic for our hangdog times. Comic, hyper-observant, self-lacerating, worldly and unexpectedly tender, this is Gary Shteyngart as a radical pied-piper: making you believe that pleasure, properly pursued, might actually save us all.”
“The Sensualist: Adventures in Pure Pleasure” will publish next month from Random House.
