Savannah James is dunking on her husband’s critics.
Following LeBron James’ exit from the Los Angeles Lakers, the 39-year-old addressed the negative attention her husband has received online, noting the criticism is “crazy.”
In fact, the reactions have served as a stark contrast to the positive community she has cultivated around her and co-host April McDaniel’s podcast Everybody’s Crazy.
After April noted that “people build up things to crush them” online, the mom of three—who shares Bronny James, 21, Bryce James, 19, and Zhuri James, 11, with LeBron—added during the July 7 episode of their podcast, “That is a fact.”
“I feel like that’s the hard part with LeBron,” McDaniel continued. “Just like being such an icon and just like how negative people be. I’m like, can y’all get a life?”
But the chatter is not new to Savannah, who noted, “People definitely have made careers out of talking about him.”
Indeed, LeBron caused a lot of conversation after his agent Rich Paul announced on June 30 that he was leaving the Lakers after eight seasons.
