Prime Video’s adaptation of Chloe Walsh’s “Boys of Tommen” has found its Patrick Feely and Pierce O’Neill, with Jamie Schneider and James Craven stepping into the roles respectively.
Also joining the cast as parents are Eoin Macken who will play Teddy Lynch, Róisín Gallagher as Marie Lynch and Amy Huberman as Edel Kavanagh.
“Boys of Tommen” follows a forbidden romance at an Irish private school between star rugby player Johnny Kavanagh, who’s about to turn pro, and shy new girl Shannon Lynch.
“Both teenagers are hiding secrets; Johnny, a potentially career-ending injury, and Shannon, a troubled and violent homelife,” reads the synopsis. “Through their secret and highly charged connection, the two teens from opposite worlds battle against the odds and find a way to save each other.”

Johnny is set to be played by Conor Sánchez while Shannon is portrayed by Nancy Surridge.
The cast also includes James O’Donoghue as Joey Lynch, Sophie McGibbon as Aoife Molloy, Amelia May as Claire Biggs, John Hewson as Gerard Gibson, Indy Lewis as Lizzie Young, Alex Dunne as Hugh Biggs, Dixie Egerickx as Katie Wilmot, Daisy Jacob as Bella Wilkinson, Jonathan Heed as Cormac Ryan and Cathal Ó Síocháin as Ronan McGarry.
Brendan Canty (“Christy”) directs the Ballylaggin-set series, which is currently in production. Adapted by Poppy Cogan (“A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder”), it is based on the first two novels in Walsh’s bestselling series, “Binding 13” and “Keeping 13”. Casting is by Carla Stronge.
“Boys of Tommen” is produced by Wiip in association with Amazon MGM Studios. Metropolitan are providing local production services.
Cogan exec produces alongside Walsh, Wiip’s Paul Lee, Hope Hartman and Sean Flanagan, Temple Hill’s Wyck Godfrey, Marty Bowen, James Seidman and Annika Patton and Drama Republic’s Greg Brenman and Deena Butt. Ingrid Goodwin serves as Series Producer.
The YA adaptation is the latest in Prime Video’s stable of romance, following in the footsteps of “Off Campus” and “Every Year After.”
