The Republic of Ireland beat Israel 3-0 in their controversial Nations League fixture at a neutral venue in Hungary.
Players did not shake hands with each other before their meeting at the Nagyerdei Stadion in Debrecen and there was no exchange between Ireland captain Dara O’Shea and Israel’s Manor Solomon.
Ireland players also appeared to bow their heads while Israel’s national anthem was played out before kick-off.
Black armbands were worn by Ireland players, which Football Association of Ireland (FAI) chief executive David Courell said was a gesture to recognise “all lives lost” in the Israel-Gaza conflict.
Goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu was the only player who chose not to play after the squad voted to proceed with the match on Saturday amid calls for the game not to go ahead.
Goals from Troy Parrott, Adam Idah and Jack Moylan sealed the victory for Heimir Hallgrimsson’s side.
Moylan celebrated his goal by kissing and raising his black armband before kissing his badge.
