For instance? You might want to know about his relationship status. Is he dating anyone or is he currently single?

Kendrick and Whitney are the perfect example of high school sweethearts who have managed to go the distance! They met while attending Centennial High School in Compton, Calif., according to People.

Although we know that their relationship has lasted over the years, Kendrick and Whitney usually stay out of the spotlight so we haven’t gotten a lot of updates about them and their children over the years.

In fact, Kendrick and Whitney haven’t attended an event together since the 2018 Grammys. However, Whitney did attend a charity event on her own in December 2024.

Way back in 2015, Kendrick confirmed that he had proposed to Whitney. The couple does not appear to have made it down the altar yet.

However, they have started to expand their family. In 2019, they welcomed their daughter Uzi. Their son Enoch followed in 2022.

The children have both appeared in Kendrick‘s art, in references and visually. In fact, he, Whitney and their kids all appeared on the cover of his 2022 album Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers.

More recently, they made cameos in the music video for “Not Like Us,” which just won Kendrick the Grammy for Best Music Video (as well as four other Grammys during the ceremony, including Album and Record of the Year).

Whitney has also provided some glimpsed into the family’s life via rare updates on Instagram. Her most recent post is from August 2024 and featured a bunch of photos with Uzi and Enoch.

“Happy to be outside in the sun. Chilling with my babies, grateful for the opportunity to be their mommy. Learning to see life the way they see it,” she wrote in the accompanying caption.

One thing that is clear about the family is that their bond is strong.

“I wouldn’t even call her my girl,” Kendrick told Billboard about Whitney back in 2015. “That’s my best friend. I don’t even like the term that society has put in the world as far as being a companion she’s somebody I can tell my fears to.”
