Aston Villa have confirmed the signing of Ibrahim Mbaye from Paris Saint-Germain.
Sky Sports News understands the deal is worth £47m for the 18-year-old right winger.
The Senegal international, who scored at last summer’s World Cup, was part of the PSG squad which won successive Champions League titles, as well as Ligue 1, in 2025 and 2026.
Mbaye’s arrival follows the sale of England forward Ollie Watkins to Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal in a £51m transfer.

Meanwhile, Taylor Harwood-Bellis, 24, is also having a medical at Villa Park.
Villa have agreed a £30m package with Southampton to sign the England international centre-back.
The deal is broken up into a £25m guaranteed fee, plus £5m in add-ons.

Youngest African to score at the World Cup

Mbaye, 18, who primarily plays on the right wing, has come through the PSG youth system and made his debut in August 2024 as a 16-year-old.
The teenager is a Senegal international, making his bow in November 2025, having previously represented France at youth level.
Mbaye made history at the 2026 World Cup when he became the youngest African to score in the tournament, aged 18 years and 143 days old, in Senegal’s 3-1 loss to France.
