Held at Los Angeles’ Peacock Theater, the Sept. 14 ceremony will bring together nominees across drama, comedy, documentaries, reality TV, talk shows, variety specials and more to honor the most acclaimed performances and series.

From veteran actors including Mark Ruffalo, Lisa Kudrow, Allison Janney, Martin Short and Harrison Ford to buzzy fresh faces like Connor Storrie, Chase Infiniti, Sarah Pidgeon and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, the 2026 nominees represent talents from all age ranges and backgrounds.

And, for the first time in nearly two decades, the Emmys is switching up hosting duties in a major way.

That’s because Emmy winner Mariska Hargitay has been tapped as mistress of ceremonies, marking the first time a woman has emceed the show since Jane Lynch assumed the duties in 2011.
