2 NBA Fans Banned for Life After Storming Court During Knicks vs. Spurs Game
Victor Wembanyama‘s height has spurred some questions.
Mainly, how tall is he really? The San Antonio Spurs center has towered over players throughout his career. And while many will shoot their shot at guessing his exact measurements, he often dribbles around the topic.
“Over the years, it’s become a non-subject to me,” Wembanyama—a.k.a. Wemby—said during an October press conference. “Because, in my opinion, there’s so many more interesting things about me.”
And the athlete won’t be pressed for an answer. “Sometimes I’m surprised that it’s still a conversation,” he continued. “Because, yeah, the truth is, in my mind, it doesn’t really make a difference. I’m taller than anybody else. That’s all you need to know.”
Besides, he has a taller order at hand: the 2026 NBA Finals. The Spurs lost to the New York Knicks in Game 1 on June 3 with a final score of 95 to 105. And while Wembanyama and his team may have come up short, he isn’t too worried.
“We’re gonna have many more chances,” he said in a post-game press conference. “It’s a first-to-four series. So we’re gonna have time to work on it.”
