House of Ashur’ Added to SeriesFest

A screening of Netflix’s “Lord of the Flies,” an innovation talk with NBCUniversal Entertainment chief business officer Liz Jenkins and a panel with writers from NBC dramas are among the additional programming SeriesFest has unveiled for its 12th season. The festival will take place from May 6 through 10 at Sie FilmCenter in Denver.

Newly announced programming also includes a screening and Q&A for the drama series “Spartacus: House of Ashur”; a sneak peek at “Little House on the Prairie” followed by a conversation with series creatives; and a screening of the first episode of “Womb Room,” accompanied by a panel discussion with director Nicole Treston Abranian, producer Zarye Wossene and lead actresses and co-creators Liz Zagone and Kelsie McDonald.

SeriesFest attendees will also be able to participate in a Pitch-A-Thon roadshow showcase and attend a Q&A with six of the 2026 College Television Awards winners. Next50 and SAG-AFTRA have teamed up for a panel titled “Experience On Screen: Career Longevity in Today’s Industry” featuring Graham McTavish (“Outlander,” “Spartacus: House of Ashur” and “The Hobbit”) and other screen legends.

“This season’s programming line-up encompasses the outstanding talent and projects that are building excitement and sparking conversation through storytelling,” said SeriesFest co-founders Randi Kleiner and Kaily Smith in a joint statement. “We are also thrilled to partner with the Television Academy Foundation, Next50 and SAG-AFTRA on events that highlight creative voices and important issues in today’s television landscape.”

Previously announced panels include Netflix’s “The Four Seasons,” Peacock’s “Ponies” and Hulu’s “The Testaments,” as well as a number of industry-focused conversations around microdramas, faith-based programming and the state of indie TV.
