Grimes is opening up about her ex Elon Musk taking her son X Æ A-Xii to the White House.
The 4-year-old attended the White House for a press conference on February 11 with his 53-year-old father, the richest man in the world, who is also the head of the President’s Department of Government Efficiency.
The visit was a surprise for the 36-year-old musician, who found out through social media.

“He should not be in public like this. I did not see this, thank (you) for alerting me. But I’m glad he was polite. Sigh,” she initially said on X at the time in response to a user who noted how “polite” her son was during the press conference.
In an interview with Time, she spoke out further: “It was like, ‘Grimes slams,’ ‘Grimes speaks out.’ It’s like, OK, it was a reply.”
“But I would really like people to stop posting images of my kid everywhere. I think fame is something you should consent to. Obviously, things will just be what they are. But I would really, really appreciate that. I can only ask, so I’m just asking,” she continued.
The couple split in 2022, and share three children: X, Exa Dark Sideræl, 3, and Techno Mechanicus, 2.
Earlier in the month, Elon was sued for sole custody of his 13th child.
