The lab results are in—Brittany Allen is positive for a 2026 Emmy nomination.
Less than a month after the Pitt actress, who played terminal cancer patient Roxie on season two, confirmed she submitted herself for Emmy consideration, she was among those named as contenders for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series. (See the full list of Emmy nominations here.)
And it’s an accolade she doesn’t take lightly.
“Wow. Thank you for the support, everyone,” Allen wrote in a July 8 Instagram post following the news. “Deeply honored.”
Indeed, the 40-year-old’s nomination is one of 25 picked up by The Pitt, with the medical drama receiving the most out of any TV series of the year.
As for who Allen will face off against in the Guest Actress in a Drama Series category? She’s nominated alongside two Pitt costars, Tal Anderson, who played Becca King, the autistic sister of Taylor Dearden‘s Mel King, and Tina Ivlev, who portrayed sexual assault victim Ilana Miller. Rounding out the category are Miriam Shor (Plurbius), Merritt Weaver (The Gilded Age) and Shailene Woodley (Paradise).
