Elizabeth Holmes Says She Was “Silenced for a Long Time” in Rare Message Ahead of Documentary
Elizabeth Holmes is speaking directly to her supporters.
Amid her 11-year sentence for defrauding investors and mere weeks away from the Oct.16 premiere of the documentary chronicling her life over the last three years, You Can See Everything, Holmes shared a message directly to her followers.
“I was silenced for a long time,” the 42-year-old—who shares two kids with partner Billy Evans—wrote on X Sept. 27. “And then imprisoned. I am fighting to prove my innocence and come home to my babies and the love of my life.”
Noting she has been in prison “for 1,216 endless days and nights,” Holmes wrote that many of her loved ones, including Evans, have been managing her social media accounts in her absence.
“He fights fiercely for me and our family,” she noted of her partner. “I love him beyond space and time.”
Moving forward, however, messages shared to her social accounts that come directly from Holmes will be marked with “-EAH,” with everything else coming from her team. (Her bio on X reads, “Mostly my words, posted by others.”)
