Chloe Bailey had mercy on her comment section.
After the 28-year-old shared a video of herself participating in a dance challenge for her song “Better Than She Can,” in which she’s rocking a yellow smiley face swimsuit, some viewers began remarking on her body.
Responding to one person who noted, “you lost weight,” Bailey got candid about her recent fitness journey.
“I know!!” Bailey replied in the comments of her July 26 TikTok. “My weight fluctuates but I’ve been working out hard since [February]. Grateful I didn’t lose the booty this time though lol.”
The Chloe x Halle member is no stranger to public scrutiny, having been in the public eye alongside her sister Halle Bailey since they were teens.
In fact, the “Have Mercy” singer recently opened up about how she and her sibling used to get overwhelmed by the attention they received.
“It hurts us sometimes, when we’d see certain comments Halle and I, we’d talk to each other like, ‘Oh my gosh, is this true about me?’” she said on the July 1 episode of Call Her Daddy. “And then she’ll say, ‘Is this true about me?’ And we’d be like, ‘No, it’s not.’ And we’d have to uplift each other.”
