Cassie is opening up about how much Diddy paid her for the first time.
The 38-year-old “Me & U” singer disclosed the amount she was allegedly paid by the 55-year-old music mogul after he settled her civil lawsuit one day after she filed it in 2023.
He was arrested in 2024 for alleged sex trafficking, prostitution, racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, as well as transportation to engage in prostitution.

At the end of Day 3, Cassie
Cassie ended her direct testimony at 4:25 p.m. ET, telling jurors she took the witness stand to rid herself of the “the shame” and “guilt” she has carried.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Emily Johnson asked why she did it.
“I can’t carry this anymore, the shame the guilt, what’s right is right and what’s wrong is wrong, people aren’t disposable,” Cassie said.
She then broke down in tears shortly after as she recounted her trauma, suicidal ideation and “personal shame.”
In 2023, Cassie said she went to rehab and trauma therapy. She described losing her will to live and her contemplation of suicide.
“I was spinning out and I didn’t want to be alive anymore at that point,” she testified, breaking down as she recounted how “I couldn’t take the pain I was in anymore.”
She said she “tried to walk out the front door into traffic” but, holding a tissue to her eye, she added “my husband would not let me,” via ABC News.
She wrote the chapters of a book, “putting everything on paper for the first time so I could really understand what I had been through over many years.”
She wanted Diddy to read it because she said she “wanted him to recognize the pain he put me through.”
“He brought the concept to me when I was 22,” she said, speaking of the “freak offs.” “And it never stopped…I was always so numb because that’s what I chose to get through it.”
She said she participated in “hundreds” of “freak offs” during her relationship with Diddy, and none since.
Cassie filed a civil lawsuit in November 2023, that they settled the next day for $20 million.
This is the first time the settlement detail has been publicly revealed.
She said her attorney initially reached out to Diddy and his representatives to ask about compensating her $30 million after informing them of her plans to write a book about her relationship with Diddy, saying she considered the book part of her “trauma therapy.”
She did not receive any money at that time.
U.S. District Court Judge Arun Subramanian sent jurors home for the day afterward, telling them to return at 9:30 a.m. “on the dot” Thursday (May 15).
Defense lawyers are expected to begin their cross-examination of Cassie.
