It Ends With Us storyboard artist Talia Spencer went on the record in an interview with her side of what happened on the set.

If you were unaware, star of the film Blake Lively accused Justin Baldoni, the film’s actor/director, of sexual harassment and organizing a smear campaign against her in a lawsuit that she filed a few months ago. First, Talia described Justin as “one of the few directors I’ve worked for that was kind and respectful.”

She said she was recruited by Justin to work on the Colleen Hoover film, and ended up signing on because he seemed to care “a lot about the vision of what we’re trying to do here and…not in it for fame.”

About how the BlakeJustin tension might have started, she mused, “I feel like maybe Blake smelled his kindness, mistook it for weakness and tried to take advantage and take power.”

She was asked if she thought Blake “wrestled control of the film” and she responded, “I think she tried to, yes.”

She was asked if she thought Blake was successful in doing so, and she said, “Probably yeah. I think there was a massive compromise in terms of Justin‘s original vision for the film.”

Justin‘s lawsuit has alleged that Blake conducted a “hostile takeover” of the movie and he provided text receipts, alleged to be between himself and editors of the film.

He also claims in his lawsuit he’d been kicked out of the film entirely by Blake.

Blake‘s allegations are all laid out in her complaint, which includes a note she allegedly sent to the film’s screenwriter and her alleged instructions to her publicist.
