Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are taking the latest legal action against Justin Baldoni amid their extended legal battle.
If you haven’t been keeping track, Justin named the A-list couple in a $400 million defamation lawsuit, which he filed earlier this month. It was in response to a lawsuit that Blake filed against him in late December.
The lawsuits are moving forward with a hearing scheduled in court for early next week. However, ahead of the hearing, Blake and Ryan are attempting to get Justin‘s lawsuit tossed.

On Thursday (January 30), the pair’s lawyer Michael Gottlieb issued a letter to the judge about Justin‘s suit.
“The Lively-Reynolds Parties intend to move to dismiss Plaintiffs’ complaint,” the letter reads, according to Deadline.
Justin‘s lawyer Bryan Freedman issued a statement to the outlet on the matter.
“All these motions to dismiss are just yet another attempt by Ms. Lively, Ryan Reynolds and Leslie Sloan to hide and delay the discovery of the hundreds of pages of true facts and well-documented information that we remain dedicated to providing publicly, with full transparency,” he said. “We expect such motions to be denied and, in the meantime, stand ready to oppose each and every one of them.”
