‘American Horror Story’ Star Emma Roberts Signs With UTA


Actress and producer Emma Roberts, the “American Horror Story” who also recently produced the hit series “Tell Me Lies,” has signed with United Talent Agency for representation.

Roberts’ production company, Belletrist, produced Hulu’s “Tell Me Lies,” which ran for three seasons, as well as Netflix’s “First Kill.” Next up she is an executive producer of Netflix’s YA adaptation of “Calabasas,” from showrunner/EP Chris Van Dusen and fellow EPs Kim Kardashian and Alexandra Milchan.

Belletrist also has Hulu’s adaptation of Candace Bushnell’s “One Fifth Avenue” and Peacock’s new take on “Bride Wars,” with Roberts set to star. The shingle additionally has a first-look deal with Blink49 Studios to develop and produce scripted TV projects, and has the “Expiration Dates” feature adaptation set up at Amazon MGM Studios.

On screen, Roberts stars in “Hal,” directed by Mark Williams, and “The Technique,” directed by Brian McGreevy. And she’ll be back in Season 13 of FX’s “American Horror Story.” She previously appeared in the seasons including “Coven,” “Freak Show,” “Apocalypse,” “1984” and ‘Delicate.”

Roberts’ other credits include Fox’s “Scream Queens,” Nickelodeon’s “Unfabulous,” and features including “We’re the Millers,” “Nerve,” “Palo Alto,” “It’s Kind of a Funny Story” and “Nancy Drew,” as well as the streaming projects “Holidate” (Netflix), “Maybe I Do” (Hulu) and “Space Cadet” and “About Fate” (Amazon Prime Video).
