‘American Horror Story’ Creator Ryan Murphy Reacts to Ariana Grande’s Season 13 Exit
Gabourey Sidibe knows time with her little ones is precious.
But that doesn’t mean the American Horror Story doesn’t mind the occasional break from caring for her and husband Brandon Frankel’s 2-year-old twins, Cooper and Maya.
“Well now I say yes to most jobs so I can leave the house,” Sidibe quipped to E! News at the premiere of American Horror Story season 13 on Sept. 24. “They’re two years old, so that terrible twos thing? Not a rumor.”
But in all seriousness, the 43-year-old does feel as though becoming a mom IRL has made for more layered performances onscreen.
“I think I’m much more sensitive, now, as a mom,” she reflected. “So, I think I bring more sensitivity and care to my roles now.”
And one of those performances includes the reprisal of her role as coven witch Queenie in the upcoming 13th installment of the Ryan Murphy anthology drama.
But while the latest season features stars new to the Hulu series—including Avantika, Madelaine Petsch and Alex Consani—they didn’t need any advice from her on dipping their toes into Murphy’s spooky underworld.
