The 38-year-old rapper replaced Kendrick Lamar, who he’s been publicly sparring with for years, with his new album $ome $exy $ongs 4 U with PartyNextDoor.
The album went to No. 1 on the Billboard 200, replacing Kendrick Lamar’s GNX, which originally came out at the end of 2024.

Kendrick‘s GNX came out in 2024, and went back to No. 1 last week following his performance at the 2025 Super Bowl. 2017’s Damn and 2012’s Good Kid, M.A.A.D. City also returned to the top 10, to No. 9 and 10 respectively.
Drake‘s album had the largest streaming week for any album this year, since Kendrick‘s GNX debuted at No. 1 on the Dec. 7, 2024, chart.
Drake seemingly addressed the beef in one of his latest songs.
