‘Colin From Accounts’ Sets Season 3 Trailer, Release Date

After a failed proposal between Gordon (Patrick Brammall) and Ashley (Harriet Dyer), “Colin From Accounts” picks up right where the characters awkwardly left off in the new trailer for Season 3.

An official synopsis of the final season reads: “Gordon and Ashley are determined to move on from past embarrassments, they can’t seem to shake their collective baggage. And even as life moves relentlessly on, with challenges at work, ongoing family battles and new friendship dramas, something keeps pulling this flawed, funny pair back into each other’s orbits. Do Gordon and Ashley belong together — or is their beloved dog Colin the only thing keeping their futures intertwined?”

New additions to the cast this season include Thomas Cocquerel (“All Her Fault”), Nikki Shiels (“The Last Anniversary”) and Mark Trevorrow (“The Bob Downe Show, Kath & Kimderella”). Returnees include Emma Harvie, Genevieve Hegney, Michael Logo, Helen Thomson, Darren Gilshenan, Virginia Gay, Annie Maynard, Celeste Barber, Justin Rosniak and Tai Hara.

In a joint statement, show creators and lead stars Brammall and Dyer said: “Creatively it feels like the right time to say goodbye to ‘Colin From Accounts’ after three seasons. We love everything about making this show. From writing all 24 episodes and producing with our amazing partners at Easy Tiger, to acting on set with our brilliant cast and spunky crew, to sitting in the edit with our wonderful post team where we are currently wrapping things up. We’re going to miss making this show terribly, but we hope you love season three as much as we do. Thank you for watching, it means the world.”

Season 3 will premiere Thursday, Sept. 10 on Paramount+ with all eight episodes. The series is produced by Easy Tiger Productions and CBS Studios.

RENEWALS

“The Artful Dodger” has been renewed for Season 3 at Disney+.

The Australian Hulu original stars Thomas Brodie-Sangster (“The Queen’s Gambit”), David Thewlis (“Avatar: Fire and Ash”) and Maia Mitchell (“Never Goin’ Back”), who reprise their roles as Dr. Jack Dawkins, Norbet Fagin and Lady Belle Fox. The series adapts the lead character from Charles Dickens’ “Oliver Twist” novels as the pickpocket faces ripple effects from his life of crime in London.

“Audiences will journey even further into the world of ‘The Artful Dodger’ with the return of our fan-favourite series and can expect even more twists and turns in this third and final instalment,” says Kylie Watson-Wheeler, SVP and managing director of The Walt Disney Company Australia and New Zealand. “The renewal is a testament to the quality of this show, and everyone involved in making it. We’re thrilled to be bringing Australia’s premium storytelling and high-calibre talent and creatives to audiences around the world on Disney+ and Hulu.”

Filming will take place in Australia in the coming months. The first two seasons are streaming on Disney+ globally and on Hulu in the U.S.
