Welcome back to the world of “Euphoria.”
Ahead of the long-awaited premiere of the HBO drama’s third season on April 12, a second trailer has been released. It starts out with Zendaya‘s Rue being interrogated in Mexico after she’s shown working with drug dealers and swallowing a wad of unknown drugs as a mule. Sydney Sweeney‘s Cassie and Jacob Elordi’s Nate get married, and Cassie reunites with Maddy (Alexa Demie) to shoot cam girl content.
Alongside Zendaya, Sweeney and Elordi, other main cast members returning for “Euphoria” Season 3 are Hunter Schafer, the late Eric Dane, Demie, Maude Apatow, Martha Kelly, Chloe Cherry, Colman Domingo and Dominic Fike. There are also plenty of newcomers, including Sharon Stone, Rosalía, Trisha Paytas, Natasha Lyonne, Danielle Deadwyler, Eli Roth and Marshawn Lynch. Plus: Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Toby Wallace, Darrell Britt-Gibson, Kadeem Hardison, Priscilla Delgado, James Landry Hébert, Anna Van Patten, Asante Blackk, Bella Podaras, Bill Bodner, Cailyn Rice, Colleen Camp, Gideon Adlon, Hemky Madera, Homer Gere, Jack Topalian, Jessica Blair Herman, Kwame Patterson, Madison Thompson, Matthew Willig, Rebecca Pidgeon and Sam Trammell.
At a HBO Max event in London last year, “Euphoria” creator Sam Levinson teased where all the main characters ended up after high school. “Jules [Schafer] is in art school, very nervous about having a career as a painter and trying to avoid responsibility at all costs,” he said. “Maddy [Demie] is working in Hollywood at a talent agency for a manager, she’s obviously got her own side hustles going. And Lexi [Apatow] is an assistant to a showrunner played by Sharon Stone, who is just absolutely delightful and a true icon.”
