Disney has launched a three-day pop-up in London, U.K. to celebrate the centenary of “Winnie the Pooh.” The immersive walk-through experience also has a neat National Geographic tie-in with the inclusion of a screen playing clips from recently-released doc “Secrets of the Bees.”
Launching on Friday morning at the Westfield White City mall, the “Winnie the Pooh: The Lost Balloon” experience gives fans a chance to take a peek – and some photos – in their favorite characters’ rooms while searching for Christopher Robin’s balloon. They can also complete challenges such as bouncing with Tigger and playing “Pooh sticks.”
It will be open through April 12 with tickets released daily at 9am on Disneytickets.co.uk (advance tickets are already sold out).

To celebrate the opening, Nat Geo explorer Bertie Gregory made an appearance at the pop-up, introducing the documentary to an audience of fans, influencers and celebrities as well as highlighting the role of bees in the ecosystem and sharing some behind-the-scenes insights from the two-part series.
“Secrets of the Bees,” which is hosted by Gregory, launched on April 1 on Disney+ and National Geographic. It is exec produced by “Avatar” creator James Cameron.
Pooh Bear was first immortalized in AA Milne’s 2026 book “Winnie the Pooh,” which tells the story of Christopher Robin and his plush friends including Pooh, Piglet and Rabbit.
Disney will be marking the tubby little cubby’s 100th birthday this year with a variety of events, licensing collaboration, publishing releases and merchandise throughout the world. Immersive experiences are also taking place in L.A., Japan, Singapore, Paris and Poland showcasing licensed “Winnie the Pooh” collaborations with brands including LEGO, Just Play and Funko.
