Unilever said that chief executive Hein Schumacher is stepping down at the end of the month.
The consumer goods group said in a statement on Tuesday that Schumacher has agreed to step down from the role on March 1 and will leave the company on May 31.
Schumacher will be replaced by Fernando Fernandez, Unilever’s chief financial officer.
