After one of the most dramatic NFL free agency episodes in recent memory, the Baltimore Ravens have ultimately emerged with slightly improved odds to win the Super Bowl.
The Ravens were 11-1 for the league’s title at the beginning of March, then jumped to +950 and eventually +900 after they agreed to a trade for superstar defensive end Maxx Crosby. However, when the news broke that they had backed out of the deal, Baltimore lengthened back to +950, but returned to +900 after signing All-Pro defensive end Trey Hendrickson.
In the brief window of time the Ravens had Crosby, BetMGM reported that they had garnered the most money (15.1%) to win the Super Bowl. At DraftKings, Baltimore (+450) has overtaken the Buffalo Bills (+500) for favorite status to win the AFC and is the odds-on favorite to win the AFC North at -145.
The drama ultimately tightened things up at the top of the odds board, with the Ravens, Bills and Seattle Seahawks all tied at +900 behind the Los Angeles Rams, who maintained their position at the top at +750. The AFC champion New England Patriots continue to tumble, lengthening to 18-1 from 16-1 in less than a week, and from 13-1 at open.
