Sebastian Stan looks like a different man.
The 43-year-old, who is known for his luscious dark mane, has gone bald for his new role in Fjord. The film, directed by Romanian filmmaker Cristian Mungiu, will debut at the 79th annual Cannes Film Festival held from May 12 to 23.
In the movie poster, Stan smiles widely, showing off his hairless head and full beard while standing next to costar Renate Reinsve. The two, who play a married couple, are shown surrounded by their five onscreen children.
The film centers around a Romanian-Norwegian couple who move their family to the wife’s remote hometown in Norway and face scrutiny over how they treat their kids. Stan, who is of Romanian descent, plays husband Mihai while Reinsve stars as his wife Lisbet.
The Marvel star previously debuted his clean scalp in April 2025, which was far from the long locks of his MCU character Bucky Barnes a.k.a. the Winter Soldier, at the Los Angeles premiere of Thunderbolts* last April, around the time Fjord wrapped production.
