Bravo fans won’t be enjoying the Miami heat any time soon.
That’s because Bravo has put The Real Housewives of Miami on pause following season seven, E! News confirmed.
The reason for the hiatus? Despite being a fan-favorite, multiple outlets reported a lack of viewers led to the network’s decision.
This isn’t the first time Miami has gone off of the air for an extended period of time. After season three ended in 2013, the show was paused for nearly eight years before returning with a partially new cast for season four (on Peacock this time) in 2021.
RHOM season seven—which concluded in October—saw newbie Stephanie Shojaee, a feisty Miami real estate developer, join returning Housewives Alexia Nepola, Larsa Pippen, Guerdy Abraira, Lisa Hochstein and Julia Lemigova as well as friends-of Adriana de Moura, Marysol Patton and Kiki Barth.
And boy did the season end with a bang.
