Production has paused on Season 5 of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” due to allegations of domestic violence Taylor Frankie Paul and her ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen have made against each other.
A source tells Variety that cameras are down as the Draper City Police Department in Utah investigates the allegations on both sides after a recent incident. The pause is temporary, the source says, and it appears likely that production will resume soon without a major impact on the season’s release timeline. The incident did not occur while cameras were rolling.
Paul stars in Season 22 of “The Bachelorette,” which debuts on ABC on March 22 and is currently in New York City promoting the season ahead of a premiere event in Los Angeles this weekend. The investigation will not impact the release schedule or press plans for “The Bachelorette.”
