Fox Entertainment has a new driver at the wheel of its trek into creator-driven content: The company announced that it has recruited Billy Parks, a seasoned media and investment exec, as head of Fox Creator Studios.
The Fox Corp. division launched Fox Creator Studios at CES 2026 as a digital-first division created to partner with top creators. As head of FCS, Parks reports to Rob Wade, CEO of Fox Entertainment. Parks will focus on identifying “culturally relevant” and “high-growth” talent; building sustainable monetization models; collaborating with creators for franchises that can span TV, streaming and digital platforms; and “translating audience engagement into long-term intellectual property value,” according to Fox Entertainment.
Most recently, Parks was a venture partner at early-stage VC firm Slow Ventures’ creator fund. Prior to that, he was an operating partner at Peter Chernin’s The Chernin Group and before that was chief brand officer at CONAN, a joint venture between Conan O’Brien and Turner Media.
“Fox Creator Studios represents a fundamental evolution in how we work with today’s most dynamic storytellers, bridging the gap between Hollywood and the rapidly expanding creator economy,” said Wade in announcing Parks’ hire. “Billy has built his career at the forefront of creator-driven media, blending creative instinct with investment and operational expertise. He understands that today’s creators are founders and brand builders, and he knows how to scale their ideas into enduring businesses. As we expand our digital ecosystem, we want to empower creators to bring their dreams to life, and Billy is the ideal leader to drive that effort.”
Parks commented: “Creators today aren’t waiting for permission. They’re building the most dynamic media business in the world on their terms, recognizing that the future belongs to ideas that travel. Fox has a storied legacy of empowering great creative talent, and Fox Creator Studios is a natural extension of that legacy. Our goal is to meet creators where they are, respect what they’ve already built and help them grow, whether that means launching a new format, expanding into new verticals or scaling their brand across platforms. We want to be a place that understands their needs and helps turn momentum into enduring storytelling and entertainment brands.”
Out of the gate, Fox Creator Studios has focused on food-centric talent, including partnerships with Gordon Ramsay through Studio Ramsay Global, Rosanna Pansino, Jolly, Sorted Food, The Food Theorists and Little Remy Food. With Parks has the helm, Fox Creator Studios will expand into “additional high-growth verticals,” the company said.
Fox Entertainment’s broader digital strategy includes an investment in vertical-video platform Holywater (and a deal with Dhar Mann for a slate of scripted shows on Holywater), experiential storytelling via Chain, the acquisition of rom-com podcast company Meet Cute, and a partnership with HarperCollins Publishing.
Parks began his career in feature films before producing commercials, music videos and branded entertainment, including Super Bowl campaigns and VMA-winning work with global artists such as Kelly Clarkson, Beyoncé, Jay Z, Eminem, Selena Gomez and Rhianna, as well as brands including the NFL, Chrysler, Honda and AT&T.
He went on to serve as EVP of digital production and programming at The Chernin Group and chief content officer at Judy McGrath’s Astronauts Wanted. Parks was SVP of Fullscreen’s Strategic Content Group and created and oversaw AT&T Hello Lab, before joining Otter Media (a former portfolio company of The Chernin Group) as executive VP of creative and content strategy, working with Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine and Ellation to develop and expand their content offerings.
