Beau Greaves resumed her domination of the PDC Women’s Series with back-to-back titles in Wigan on Sunday.
Her incredible 114-game winning streak in the series had been brought to an end on Saturday with a defeat to Fallon Sherrock, but the 22-year-old came back the following day to successfully start a new string of victories.
In Event Seven Greaves swept aside Chris Savvery before beating Courtney Hine, Noa-Lynn van Leuven and Kyana Frauenfelder as she dropped just two legs in three games.
The day’s first final saw Greaves attempt to avenge her loss from Saturday, but again Sherrock provided tough competition and took a 3-2 lead, before the Doncaster thrower won three of the four final legs to clinch the win.
Greaves carried her momentum into Event Eight as she opened with an average of over 98 in another sweep this time over Carly Chenery, before beating Lorraine Hyde in round two.
Unwaveringly confident wins over Jade Gofford, Kim Holden and Deta Hedman took Greaves to another semi-final where Laura Turner, the former Women’s World Matchplay quarter-finalist, was unable to take a single leg.
In her second final of the day Greaves stormed to a 5-1 victory, with two 180s in the final leg against Wales’ Rhian O’Sulllivan to seal the win with an 11-darter.
Having won three of four titles on offer at the weekend, Greaves has extended her lead to £10,150 ahead of Lisa Ashton while Sherrock has solidified her spot in third after making two finals.
The Women’s Series action will continue with Events Nine and 10 in Leicester on May 16.
The top three players from the final PDC Women’s Series rankings will qualify to compete in the 2026/27 Paddy Power World Darts Championship, while the top eight players on the rolling 12-month rankings will compete in July’s Betfred Women’s World Matchplay.
