Beast Games contestant Jim Bent is speaking out about his past after his past videos with beauty mogul Jeffree Star resurfaced.
Jim is in the Top 11 contestants on Beast Games season two and he’s also in a showmance with another contestant named Monika. The couple had a wedding in the middle of the season.
Questions about Jim‘s past relationship with Jeffree have come up on social media, with some wondering if they were more than just friends.
Jim left a comment on a TikTok post and said, “Me and Jeffree used to be friends and make tiktoks together, but after while I started to feel like he wanted to be more than just friends with me. So I told him I felt like we weren’t on the same page, and we haven’t spoken since.”
After Jeffree replied to the comment, both the messages disappeared from the post, but fans captured the screencaps.

Jeffree allegedly wrote back, “So sleeping together over 25 times is what friends do? I’m bored, have fun with your fake relationship and I wish you all the best. Hopefully one day you’ll be able to be yourself.”
Jim has since written multiple messages on Instagram about the struggles from his past and how he’s a different person now.
In an Instagram Story that his since expired, Jim wrote, “Beast Games was the most fun I’ve ever had because I was able to disconnect from the world and become immersed in something else. The goal was to survive as long as possible, but the motivation for that goal was my own peace of mind. I miss being free from people’s opinions and a past that not represent who I am today. I know I can be cringy or annoying sometimes, and I shouldn’t care so much about what peeple think. Sometimes it feels like I’ll never be able to move on from my past because it’s so public. I just wish I could be free again.
Jim wrote an even lengthier message in a post on his grid.
“3 years ago I felt like my life wasn’t worth living and I had no future. I’ve always been a smile through the pain kinda guy or the first to make a joke when things get tough. But on the inside I was hurting. I would constantly compare myself to the people around me that always seemed to be a step ahead no matter what I did. This mindset lead me to do a lot of things I now regret,” Jim said. “I learned that money isn’t everything, and there is no amount of money that is worth compromising my character. I want to be authentic, genuine, and real, more than I want to be rich.”
“I want you guys to know that things will get better if you give life time. It might take a while, but you have to trust the process and give it time because I promise it’ll get better. Don’t sell yourself short or give up because the next life-changing opportunity could be around the corner,” he added. “Im not saying I’ve got it all figured out, and I’m probably going to make so many more mistakes. But I genuinely just want to say I’m so proud of who I am today because I’m a very different person than I was 3 years ago.”
