ATX TV Festival Adds Warren Littlefield, Bill Lawrence Awards


ATX TV Festival is shining a light on TV leaders at their 2026 fest, set for May 28-31 in Austin, Texas.

Bill Lawrence will return with “Bill Lawrence and Friends,” a marquee conversation with the executive producer and collaborators from his past and current projects, from “Spin City,” “Scrubs,” and “Ted Lasso” to “Shrinking,” “Bad Monkey” and “Rooster.” He will then be awarded with the 2026 Showrunner Award, which recognizes a showrunner/creator who has made a major influence on TV and fostered an environment of collaboration and mentorship.

The special guests joining Lawrence on the panle will be announced at a later date.

Warren Littlefield will also receive the festival’s inaugural Creative Impact Award. Founder and president of The Littlefield Company, and former president of NBC Entertainment, Littlefield’s Littlefield’s tenure at NBC included the era of “Must See TV” and the development of numerous massive series. The Littlefield Company has garnered 163 Emmy nominations and 24 Emmy wins.

The Creative Impact Award aims to honor an individual who has shaped and elevated TV in significant ways throughout their career. Littlefield will participate in a one-on-one conversation about his prolific career over the last four decades.

On Friday, the festival also added a first look at USA Network’s upcoming drama “Anna Pigeon,” an adaptation of Nevada Barr’s best-selling novel. Star Tracy Spiridakos, showrunner/executive producer Morwyn Brebner, and director Lea Thompson will participate in a conversation.

The festival will host a screening of BritBox’s “Agatha Christie’s Tommy & Tuppence,” ahead of its premiere. Actors Antonia Thomas and Josh Dylan will attend with a conversation about stepping into the Agatha Christie universe.

Prevously, the festival announced reunion panels for “Everybody Loves Raymond” and “Friday Night Lights.” Tickets and passes are on sale now.
