They added, “We also recognize that this has never had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless,” the pair added. “We truly appreciate the understanding and respect as we navigate this.”
Though Ciara has not directly commented on the drama, Kyle subsequently broke his silence on his ex moving on with his good friend.
“I’m good, I’m actually really worried about Amanda, if I’m being honest,” the Loverboy funder told NYC-based journalist Adam Glyn in a TikTok video posted April 1. “I talked to her before their statement came out, she gave me a heads up, and I talked to her last night. I understand people have all sorts of opinions and I’m not justifying any kind of behavior, but from what I’m seeing she’s kind of getting cyber bullied.”
“Amanda knows that what she did was wrong,” Kyle added, “and she’s trying to come to terms with it. But she is not well.”
