Amy Madigan has certainly bewitched the Oscars voters.

The Weapons actress picked up the 2026 Academy Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role for her portrayal of Aunt Gladys, besting fellow nominees One Battle After Another’s Teyana Taylor, Sinners’ Wunmi Mosaku and Sentimental Value costars Elle Fanning and Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas.

And it was an emotional moment for Amy as she accepted the award at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre March 15 during the Conan O’Brien-hosted ceremony, giving a rare shoutout to husband of 42 years Ed Harris, with whom she shares daughter Lily Harris, 32. (See all the winners here.)

“The most important is my beloved Ed,” Amy said from the stage, “who’s been with me forever, and that’s a long ass time.”

“None of this would mean anything if he wasn’t by my side,” she continued. “So thank you very much. I’m very overwhelmed.”

Amy also had a special message for her fellow nominees, thanking them for supporting her during awards season.
