‘Age of Attraction’ Renewed for Season 2 at Netflix

Netflix’s “Age of Attraction” will turn 2.

The dating show that sets out to prove whether age is really just a number has been renewed for a second season on the streamer.

Hosted by 44-year-old “Bachelor” alum Nick Viall and his wife, 26-year-old Natalie Joy, “Age of Attraction” features 40 single men and women aged 22 to 60 as they search for love across generations. The only question they’re not allowed to ask each other is: “How old are you?”

Season 1 of the dating experiment show launched on Netflix on March 11 with eight one-hour episodes. It debuted on the streamer’s English TV Top 10 chart.

A special reunion episode of “The Viall Files” podcast will be released on Wednesday, catching audiences up to speed on the status of some of the couples that survived the series, which filmed more than a year ago.

“We love concepts that are impossible to look away from and Age of Attraction nailed that from day one,” said Jennifer O’Connell and Rebecca Quinn, executive producers and co-founders of Velvet Hammer Media. “It’s messy, it’s real and that’s what makes it fun to watch. Huge thanks to Netflix for embracing this dating experiment with us. The response has been incredible, and we’re excited to push it even further in Season 2.”

The series is executive produced by O’Connell, Quinn, Sean Dean and David Friedman. The production company is Velvet Hammer Media, whose credits include HBO Max’s “Ruby & Jodi: A Cult of Sin and Influence,” The CW’s “The Big Bakeover” and Roku’s “Empty Nest Refresh” and “Best Bite Wins.”
