Carey Mulligan is promoting the UK release of hr movie The Ballad of Wallis Island.
The 40-year-old actress wore a black dress while walking the carpet for the premiere on Wednesday night (May 28) at the Ham Yard Hotel in London, England.
Carey was joined by co-stars Tim Key, Tom Basden, Sian Clifford, and Akemnji Ndifornyen, as well as director James Griffiths.
The Ballad of Wallis Island follows Charles (Key), an eccentric lottery winner who lives alone on a remote island and dreams of getting his favorite musicians, McGwyer Mortimer (Basden & Mulligan) back together. His fantasy turns into reality when the bandmates and former lovers accept his invitation to play a private show at his home on Wallis Island. Old tensions resurface as Charles tries desperately to salvage his dream gig.
While the movie is first being released in the UK, it was in US theaters back in March and is currently available on streaming. Watch now on Prime Video, iTunes, or wherever else you stream movies!
