“Ok, first of all, I just want to say, I’m at home watching the ACMs and I’m so proud of everyone tonight, everyone that’s performed, everyone that’s won. Like, I get so excited for everyone because I have the same dream, and I wanna be there and I wanna be getting these awards and having these performances and presenting the awards,” Lauren said in her video.
She added, “But I’m home 37 weeks pregnant So I’m home this year and I just wanna be honest about something, I’m feeling left out. I’m feeling sad. I’m feeling so many feelings because I have this little girl in here, and I want her to dream big, and I want her to believe in herself and go for whatever she wants to do.”
Lauren hopes to make her mark in the music industry again.
“I just feel kind of left behind,” she said. “Like I’ve gotta create all this content and try to do all these things to try and have all these moments online. And it’s not just about writing music and putting songs out anymore, you have to do all these other things.”
Lauren made sure to clarify that she didn’t feel like she was stuck at home because she’s pregnant as she felt the same way when she didn’t attend the show last year.
“I felt this way last year,” she said. “I didn’t go to the ACMs last year either, and I just desperately want to be there. I want to be up for these awards and be able to even present the awards and walk the carpet and be with my friends.”
