Ariana Madix is speaking out about the upcoming cast change for Vanderpump Rules!
The Bravo reality series, where the 39-year-old gained her fame, is getting a whole cast reboot for the 12th season.
In a new interview, Ariana shared her thoughts on the change, and even noted that after the last season, she never really planned to return.

“I don’t think I was ever going to go back to Vanderpump Rules. That’s the first time I’ve ever said that publicly, but I was never going to,” she tells People StyleWatch.
“It just didn’t feel right. Not in any sort of rude way, not in a professional, ‘We don’t need this,’ not in a, ‘I’m too good for this’, but it just didn’t feel right,” Ariana continued. “If I did go back, I wouldn’t have been able to do the job that would make a good show. And so it just wasn’t going to make sense, the story didn’t make sense.”
Ariana‘s last appearance in the season 11 finale saw her, once again, at odds with ex Tom Sandoval and even a couple others in the group, and we saw Ariana walking away from the event they were all at.
“Here’s the thing that’s so stupid: I gave them the best f-cking ending to what that season could have had in that moment by leaving, ’cause it was real. It was real and it was exciting to watch. If you literally are only looking at it from a perspective of good reality TV, I gave you good reality TV,” Ariana said last year on the Disrespectfully podcast after the reunion.
A few months ago, Ariana‘s friend, former co-star and business partner Katie Maloney also expressed that she had no interest in returning, deciding she was done after the reunion.
